Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fundi ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. Platform Role
Fundi is a marketplace that connects clients ("Clients") with independent service providers ("Artisans"). Fundi is not a party to any service contract between Clients and Artisans, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or completion of any services rendered.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform.
4. Payments & Escrow
All payments for services must be made through the Platform's escrow system. Funds are held securely until the Client confirms job completion. Bypassing the Platform's payment system is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
5. Platform Fee
Fundi charges a platform fee on each completed transaction, deducted from the Artisan's payout. The current fee is displayed in your account settings and may be updated with reasonable notice.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: (a) arrange payments outside the Platform; (b) harass, threaten, or harm other users; (c) submit false reviews; (d) use the Platform for unlawful purposes; (e) impersonate any person or entity; or (f) circumvent any Platform security measures.
7. Disputes
Disputes between Clients and Artisans should be raised through the Platform's dispute resolution feature within 48 hours of job completion. Fundi will review the evidence provided by both parties and make a final determination, which may include full or partial refunds.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fundi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of the transaction in dispute.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harm the Platform or its users.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
